TelegramOn 9 December 2025, the Telegram channel @zeleboba_ai published a two-minute video using the likeness of Nataliya Moseichuk, a presenter of the TSN news programme on the 1+1 TV channel. A woman resembling Moseichuk appears on screen as if she is broadcasting live on 1+1: the video includes the channel’s logo, the name of the morning show Snidanok aired on this channel, as well as the caption “Nataliya Moseichuk.” In the footage, the woman is crying and emotionally announcing that businessman and oligarch Ihor Kolomoiskyi had allegedly died in a pre-trial detention centre.
Several indicators suggest that the video was generated using artificial-intelligence technologies. These include the overly “perfect” appearance — such as unnaturally smooth skin, unrealistic tears running down the woman’s face — as well as a slight desynchronisation between the audio and video tracks. Additionally, some words are pronounced with incorrect stress patterns, further indicating artificial voice generation.

The video is accompanied by the following caption: “Today in a pre-trial detention centre, businessman Ihor Kolomoiskyi suddenly died of a heart attack — Nataliya Moseichuk.”
This post demonstrates clear signs of technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV), namely: impersonation through the theft of the image of a well-known, recognisable female media professional; gendered disinformation; and online defamation — the dissemination of false, manipulative information allegedly coming from Nataliya Moseichuk via a fake video. The aim of such actions may be to professionally discredit both Nataliya Moseichuk and the 1+1 TV channel.
