TelegramOn 8 December 2025, the editor-in-chief of Detector Media, Nataliya Lygachova, published a Facebook post describing an informal conversation between journalists and a representative of the President’s Office, including discussions about the resignation of Andriy Yermak and the potential appointment of a new head of the Presidential Office. In the comments under her post, Lygachova also shared a recent Detector Media article on the topic.
The post was commented on, among others, by Myroslav Oleshko — a blogger accused of illegally crossing the state border and evading mobilization during martial law.
“Wow, that’s some professionally delivered bootlicking. Not even asking about Mindich anymore, forgetting about blood-soaked corruption. The main thing is that the family is exempted and not ‘busified’, and bringing in the cash. Right, Nataliya?” Oleshko wrote.

He later made a separate post on his own Telegram channel, illustrating it with a screenshot of his comment and calling Lygachova an “old whore.” After that, he published several more posts continuing the topic, illustrating them with comments under the journalist’s original post. In one of these, he also mentioned journalist Kateryna Lisunova, calling her a “slut-grant-eater.”

It is likely that after Oleshko’s comments, similar comments began appearing under Nataliya Lyhachova’s Facebook post from other users.
This case displays clear indicators of technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV) targeting a female media professional, including gendered disinformation, hate speech, online defamation, and sexism. This is not the first instance in which Myroslav Oleshko has attacked women journalists on his social media accounts.
