On February 10, 2025, a post mentioning journalist Anna Kaliuzhna (on social media – Ann Julac) appeared in the Telegram channel “News of Truth: Oleshko’s blog”, run by blogger Myroslav Oleshko. The post also referred to the editor-in-chief of Slidstvo.Info, Anna Babinets.

“While a mobilized soldier is in critical condition and remains silent, the grant-eating journalist of Bihus.Info and Slidstvo.Info justifies the crimes of the Territorial Recruitment Centers by quoting excuses from police controlled by Tatarov. Anna Babinets, whose husband has a deferral and is evading mobilization, reports that funds collected from civilians, which they asked to be donated, will go specifically to the work of this journalist Ann Julac. Interestingly, they did not comment at all on the story of the murdered son of a lawyer,” the post reads.

The post contains signs of sexism, sexualized harassment, and gendered disinformation, as do the comments below it:
“Zhurhoglists TTsK throat-swall…”
“Julac, phubl; the offspring of the foul-mouthed Moseisuchka are already growing up.”

Here, we also see a reference to another media professional, Natalia Moseichuk, host at the 1+1 channel, whose surname was deliberately distorted in a derogatory manner. Previously, Women in Media documented online attacks against her as well, including with the use of artificial intelligence.

The repeated attacks by Myroslav Oleshko against various Ukrainian women journalists, documented by Women in Media, indicate that such actions represent his deliberate tactic aimed at discrediting their work and undermining their professional reputation.
