The participants were selected from 115 applications submitted by professional media women across Ukraine — each one strong and inspiring.
The program aims to strengthen the role of women in media, promote inclusion and diversity, build partnerships with EU-based media and organizations, offer support through the power of sisterhood and solidarity, and collaboratively develop policies for gender equality and women’s leadership in Ukrainian media.
The media professionals who were not selected this time are no less professional and determined; however, the program was limited in the number of places, which made the selection process challenging. In the future, Women in Media NGO plans to create additional opportunities for cooperation and professional development.
