InstagramOn April 26, 2026, TSN presenter on the 1+1 channel, Solomiia Vitvitska, announced on her social media accounts that she and her fiancé, serviceman Oleksii Sytailo, were expecting their first child. The following day, April 27, the presenter appeared as a guest on the morning show Snidanok z 1+1, where she confirmed her pregnancy and shared further details. A clip from the broadcast featuring Solomiia Vitvitska was later published on the Instagram pages of TSN and 1+1.
In the comments under the video, alongside numerous congratulatory messages, signs of online abuse were also recorded. For example, a user with the nickname @olga060276 posted the following comment: “Solomiia #Vitvitska #whore 💯👌“

Other comments included:
- “Be careful not to jinx it.”
- “Does his wife know?”
- “Why are you showing such disgusting things to the public??? Should the woman who took a father away from his family really be promoted across the whole country? Shame!!!”
Previously, rumors had circulated in the media that when Solomiia Vitvitska began her relationship with Oleksii Sytailo, he was still married. The presenter later responded to these rumors, emphasizing that both of them were single at the time their relationship began. It is known that her partner had indeed been married previously.

In addition, Solomiia Vitvitska faced accusations of allegedly “embezzling money”: “I wonder whether, after becoming a mother, this lady will finally feel ashamed for embezzling millions from Okhmatdyt?! 😢 Because when your own child gets sick, everything suddenly looks different.”
It should be noted that Solomiia Vitvitska serves as the Chair of the Supervisory Board of the charitable foundation Okhmatdyt – Healthy Childhood, which acts as the payer and oversight body for the reconstruction of the new building of the National Specialized Children’s Hospital Okhmatdyt, which was damaged by a Russian missile strike.
In response to the above comment, the presenter stated:“If there are facts, payment records, and an actual rebuilt hospital building. But you do not care. You are spreading lies and defamation! The boomerang always comes back 😉 Perhaps one day YOU will feel ashamed for slandering a person who spent two years volunteering to ensure the building was rebuilt transparently and honestly. Not everyone lies — you do. But most likely you will never feel ashamed, even if all the evidence is on my side. I did not do this for you, but for sick children. My conscience and intentions are absolutely clear.”
This case demonstrates signs of several forms of online attacks, including technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV), online defamation, misogynistic abuse, and reputational attacks. Some comments seek to humiliate Solomiia Vitvitska as a woman through the use of sexualized insults and gendered slurs. These remarks are unrelated to her professional work or her public announcement of pregnancy, yet they target her following the disclosure of her pregnancy during a national television broadcast.
The case also contains elements of online defamation and reputational attacks through unsubstantiated accusations that she was involved in the misappropriation of funds intended for the reconstruction of the Okhmatdyt hospital. Such allegations may damage both her professional reputation and her public activities without presenting any supporting evidence. Taken together, these actions contribute to a hostile online environment in which the journalist becomes the target of humiliation, stigmatization, and the spread of harmful narratives concerning both her private life and her professional work.
