Kateryna Rodak - attack 26.02.2025

On February 25, 2025, NGL.media journalist Kateryna Rodak posted a link on her Facebook page to her latest article, The Dark Side of the Scenes, which addresses sexual harassment and violence at universities. In the piece, she also shared her own experience involving Yosyp Los, a professor at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

Under Kateryna Rodak’s post, as well as other media reports on the topic, users left comments containing sexism and misogyny, such as:

●   “Wait for it—they will import Bangladeshis and others, and then unexpected news will follow. It’s just a young “journaslut” trying to make a name for herself—”the girl says so.”

●   “You should be grateful that someone even noticed you in the first place!”

●   “Oh my gosh, the poor thing is offended! He was just preparing her for the real professional world! Didn’t she know that journalism is the second oldest profession?” ))

●   “She wants to have her cake and eat it too. Media whores.”

And so on
