Oleksandra Fedorko - attack 08.07.2025

On June 8, 2025, blogger Myroslav Oleshko published a post on his social media targeting Bihus.info journalist Oleksandra Fedorko.

The post was cross-posted on Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and Telegram. In it, Oleshko — who had previously crossed the border illegally to evade mobilization — commented on the journalist’s alleged boyfriend, suggesting that he might have “bought a medical exemption” and goes to the gym because “he’s preparing not for the Armed Forces, but for a photoshoot.”

“And tell me, how can you be so hypocritical, selling yourself for money? When your loved one is a draft dodger. And I’m his leader 🙂,” – wrote Myroslav Oleshko.

Comments under the posts contained signs of hate speech, sexism, and sexualized harassment targeting Oleksandra Fedorko, for example:

• “The fact that this prostitute is ready to lie and be hypocritical for money, to do propaganda she herself doesn’t believe in — that’s a fact. She loves money. That’s fine. But she’s already buried her career in journalism, just as she wanted.”
• “Stick that b*tch 👌 Trigger them, Oleshko, so they shit themselves.”
• “I think Oleshko had the right to a first wedding night with Oleksandra as the leader of the draft-dodgers’ party 💪😎 I think she could make a deal for her draft-dodger boyfriend, since he’s just sitting in the shadows doing nothing.”

In addition, comments also included photographs taken from the journalist’s personal account, depicting her in lingerie.
