Olena Mudra - attack 01.07.2025

On June 28, 2025, the website From-UA published an article titled “Korchynskyi as Medvedchuk’s ‘Eco-Agent’ in Zakarpattia.” The article includes a collage showing freelance journalist Olena Mudra with a “Gazprom Grant” logo — a visual manipulation implying pro-Russian funding without evidence.

The text links Mudra’s environmental journalism to Viktor Medvedchuk and accuses her of undermining Ukraine’s energy independence, citing no credible sources. It also insinuates she holds a Russian passport. The style is emotionally charged, using terms like “pseudo-ecologists,” “agents,” and “grants for sabotage.”

This publication is part of an ongoing smear campaign against Mudra, who has investigated controversial wind energy developments in the Carpathians. From-UA has repeatedly published discrediting materials targeting her.
