TelegramOn 20 July 2025, two posts targeting Nataliya Lygachova, editor-in-chief of the Detector Media project, appeared on the Telegram channel “Zapysky paskvilianta”, operated by former journalist Volodymyr Bondarenko. Both posts were published under the hashtag #media_whores.

Regarding Nataliya Lygachova, the posts used expressions such as “media slut,” “incorruptible expertess and leading member,” “self-proclaimed evaluator,” “grant-eater,” and others. In addition, the posts included allegations of supposed misuse of grant funds.
The posts were later reposted on the Telegram channel “Vlast Vlashchenko,” run by Nataliya Vlashchenko, a former journalist of the ZIK TV channel that was shut down by presidential sanctions imposed by Volodymyr Zelensky due to its connection with pro-Russian oligarch Viktor Medvedchuk.
“Since Nataliya Ligachova has always known how to turn grant money into personal income, because lying and informing are her second name,” Vlashchenko wrote in her repost.

This case demonstrates several indicators of technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV), including gendered disinformation, online defamation, and the dissemination of discrediting and manipulative narratives aimed at professional discreditation and humiliation.
