Nataliia Moseichuk - attack 29.08.2026

On August 29, 2026, the @breakingUAnews account on X shared a post featuring a fragment of an interview with Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov conducted by 1+1 TV host Nataliia Moseichuk.

The following comments were recorded under the post:

• “Moseichuk is blooming. Zelensky’s rotten tribe. And what does she risk by stealing millions?”
• “It is impossible to keep feeding society lies. When they screw up, they call in the country’s main hen.”
• “The picture: a propagandist and a devil.”
• “Moseichuk is a government stooge, a propagandist, a hypocrite!”
• “Skabeyeva from 1+1 will suck up to the powerful one.”
• “Pussy and dick.”
• “Moseichuk is trying to save the ratings.”
• “Two sluts are talking about how much they enjoy living in modern Ukraine; everything is just f***ing great for them.”
• “If Moseichuk appears on screen, know that they are about to piss in your eyes.”

Several indicators of technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV) can be identified in this case. First and foremost, these include sexist and gendered insults aimed at humiliating Nataliia Moseichuk specifically as a woman.

Another indicator is sexualized humiliation and objectification. The comments also contain criticism of Moseichuk’s professional activities and accusations of propaganda, hypocrisy and alleged support for the authorities, which may undermine the journalist’s professional reputation.

The comments demonstrate gender-based professional discrediting: the journalist is called a “propagandist,” a “government stooge,” and compared to Russian TV presenter Olga Skabeyeva, while simultaneously being subjected to gender-degrading characterizations.
