On 17 January 2026, a post containing threats against Liza Kuzmenko, Head of the NGO Women in Media, as well as Yaroslav Yurchyshyn, Member of Parliament and Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Freedom of Speech, appeared on the Telegram channel “Baza 111.” In particular, the post stated:

“Member of Parliament of Ukraine Yurchyshyn Oleksandr has filed a police complaint against Baza 111. This demonstrates the fear of supporters of the Zelenskyy regime. A similar complaint was also filed by the grant-eater and accomplice of the Zelenskyy regime, Yelyzaveta Kuzmenko — NGO ‘Women in Media.’ Kuzmenko and Yurchyshyn, after the fall of the Zelenskyy regime, astonishing and bright times await you. You guessed it! Your complaints are the best proof that we are doing the right thing.”

In addition, the author of the post calls on readers to send the channel’s administrators information about people associated with the NGO Women in Media. This data is promised to be added to an updated database pinned in the channel’s profile header:

“All employees of the NGO ‘Women in Media’ will be added to the updated version of Baza 111. If you know of other non-public staff members, send us all information privately.”

This post contains signs of technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV), including gendered disinformation, intimidation attempts, gender-marked discreditation, threats, and collective targeting and discreditation.

Previously, Women in Media documented attacks by the Telegram channel Baza 111 against individual women media professionals and also drew attention to a spreadsheet containing the dissemination of personal data of journalists, activists, and politicians—women and men—covering more than 500 individuals, which was uploaded to the channel.
