XOn September 1, 2025, a post dedicated to LB.ua’s chief editor Sonya Koshkina appeared on the InfoSich account on X. The screenshot showed part of her Telegram post made on the day of the funeral of murdered politician Andriy Parubiy.

“When it came to bashing the pro-Ukrainian government, she didn’t cry.
On the contrary, she smiled at Kolomoisky, Zelensky, and other trash…
But here she just burst into tears…” — wrote the author of InfoSich.
Beneath the post, comments were recorded that contained sexist elements, as well as references to the journalist’s father — Mykyta Vasylenko, professor at the Institute of Journalism of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, who had previously been involved in a scandal over accusations of sexist and anti-Ukrainian rhetoric:
- “Cynical journo-slut, the worthy daughter of her father.”
- “Writer girl, cheap and daddy’s copy.”
- “👍Koshkina cried. A pig has feelings?”

Comments such as “Yes, she is an opportunistic scum” also bear traits of gendered disinformation — for example, accusations of alleged “selling out” to this or that government, political force, or actor.
