On January 29, 2025, hromadske published a video on its YouTube channel titled “COVID doesn’t exist and the war was started by politicians: how pediatrician Chaika ‘treats’ all diseases.” Journalist Inna Popovych reports on Vasyl Chaika, a doctor who, according to the investigation, profits from cancer patients by encouraging them to reject conventional treatments.

The video’s comments include sexist language and online defamation targeting the journalist and editorial team, including accusations of bias, being “grant-funded,” and producing a “paid” investigation.
